The Arab Center for Integrity and Transparency was established as one of its main sectors and as an integral, complementary and complementary part of the Arab Federation of Commercial Arbitration and Dispute Resolution.

Works as an international Arab body that follows its direct management of the presidency of the Union and its secretariat and is fully subject to its decisions and provisions, It may in no way double the presidency or the Secretariat.

The Center has full legal personality and full capacity to carry out its business and activities and achieve its objectives and has all the advantages and immunities stipulated in the Agreement on The Advantages and Immunities of the League of Arab States.

  • The center aims to support and promote the principles of integrity, transparency, prevention and awareness of corruption and reduce it and its negative effects by taking preventive steps, measures and mechanisms in accordance with a comprehensive strategy to help activate many legislations and develop ways to fight it in order to activate and facilitate the implementation of the systems of joint Arab action.

  • Contribute to the implementation of UN conventions and international conventions and treaties on integrity, transparency, prevention of corruption and ways to combat and reduce it.

  • Work to prevent corruption and prevent its dangers and effects, receive reports and report the perpetrators to the competent state agencies to help prevent the crimes of bribery, influence trading, abuse of power and prevention of mediation, withdrawal and various corruption crimes.

  • Work to achieve the objectives of protecting integrity and prevent corruption and follow up its implementation with the relevant authorities in the state, monitoring and evaluating its results, evaluating and reviewing its work programmes and mechanisms of application, and reviewing the working methods and procedures in order to identify the weaknesses that lead to corruption crimes and work to address them.

  • Assisting the government, public and international bodies and the business sector in investigating and responding to cases of graft and financial operations suspected of being linked to money laundering, terrorist financing and terrorism offences.

  • Work on the preparation and publication of statistics and periodic reports on indicators and perceptions of corruption in Arab countries.
