Member of the Arab Federations Forum

The Arab Federation of Commercial Arbitration and Dispute Resolution is an independent Arab international body, a member of the Arab Federations Forum and a member of the Permanent Executive Office of the Arab League, which was established and established to operate within the Arab League. The Republic of Iraq is currently the seat state of the Union, and the Union may establish regional branches or offices in Arab countries or representative offices in some countries of the world or some international organizations. The Federation operates under the provisions of its statutes and the decisions of its board of directors and its general assembly. The Union enjoys full legal personality and full capacity to conduct its business and achieve its objectives within the scope of the Arab League. The federation includes six major sectors and centers as described in the organizational structure of the Union.

  • Member of the Executive Office of the Arab League
  • Resolution of the Council of Arab Economic Unity No. (820/D38) dated 1981/12/02, which approved the unified statute suppallow of specialized Arab unions and the agreement of their basic provisions.
  • The Decision of the Council of Arab Economic Unity at the ministerial level No. (1537/965) on 2013/06/06 commissioned the General Secretariat of the Council to study the amendment of the common statute of specialized quality Arab unions, Under which the common statute sits on specialized Arab unions operating within the Council of Arab Economic Unity.
  • The founding members signed the founding document and statute sought during the Constituent Assembly held in Kuwait On May 12, 2016 (attached to this system).
  • The Arab Federation of Commercial Arbitration and Dispute Resolution is a member of the Forum of Arab Federations and a member of the Permanent Executive Office of the Arab League.

In the case of the Union, the provisions of its statutes do not violate the provisions of the common statute of specialized arab federations, It is also agreed to do its duty, activities and publicity.

  • Baghdad, The Republic of Iraq, is the permanent seat of the Federation and the Arab Court of Commercial Arbitration.
  • On the recommendation of its General Assembly, the Union may establish regional branches or offices in arab countries or representative offices in some countries of the world or some international organizations, This is in accordance with a decision of the Board of Directors and determines in the resolution the validity of these branches or offices and their terms of reference.
  • The Federation has full legal and legal personality and full capacity to carry out its work and achieve its objectives within the Council of Arab Economic Unity of the Arab League.
  • The Federation enjoys full financial and administrative autonomy.
  • The federation’s headquarters, branches, offices, sectors, specialized centers, president and secretary general enjoy all the advantages and immunities stipulated in the Agreement on The Advantages and Immunities of the Council of Arab Economic Unity of the Arab League.
